Before the Rabbit's Descent

I've wanted to write the backstories for Alice in Wonderland characters for quite a while. I'm currently trying to push myself out of my comfort zone of suspense/thriller writing with some lighter, short works. I have eleven characters lined up for my series. It's slow going as I'm still working on pieces that I intend to publish but I'm making my way through. I got the inspiration I needed by starting work on an Alice in Wonderland tattoo. I'm biased, because it's mine, but I love it. I won't post the "drawing" I made and walked into the shop with because it looks like a 5 year old drew it. (Although, if I'm being honest, a 5 year old probably would have done better). Watching what my artist was able to do with the nightmare of a reference I brought in gave me the encouragement to try something new.
